My last vacuum was bagless, worked well but was so heavy, I hated using it. I sold it at a garage sale and purchased this one and I can’t believe how much I like it. It is so light weight and picks up dirt so easily. Plus it uses bags and I couldn’t be happier.

5 Stars Terrific Vacuum Cleaner
This is a great vacuum cleaner. It glides over our living room pile carpet like a breeze and picks up the pet hair with no problem. It is not too heavy and not too light. It feels like a quality product. The whirring sounds when it starts up sounds like an airplane taking off and then levels off to a nice hum. Now I know I’m old when I get so excited about a vacuum cleaner, but it is the truth. I am so happy I purchased this product and from Amazon none the less because I received it in only two days. Great product from Hoover and great buying through Amazon!

As a longtime “Hoover user”, I did a LOT of research before making this purchase. While I “looked” as various brands and models, WE selected the Hoover Platinum Lightweight Upright Vacuum with Canister, Bagged, UH30010COM and could not be happier!

The UPRIGHT is lightweight, quiet, easily maneuvered (thanks to the ergonomic handle)and cleans like a pro. Ditto for the canister!

I love this new vacuum. It is very lightweight, propels itself and picks up very very well. Contrary to other reviews, I also love the canister. It will do baseboards and blinds!
