5 Stars Best stick vacuum I ever owned
I have been buying vacuums for 42 years and this is the best one yet. Perfect for bare floors and very powerful for carpets. It is so powerful that you cannot use the power boost feature on throw rugs because it sucks them up. Cleans my carpets as good as my full size vacuum. When I empty the dirt cup I cannot believe how muh dust and dirt it finds. Only negative is that it runs a bit hot because of all the power. Long cord, swivel head and light weight features make it easy to use. Highly recommended.
4 Stars Handy, easy to maneuver
I keep this little lightweight vacuum upstairs. It maneuvers over hardwood floors and bathroom tiles, under beds and dressers, and small oriental carpets. It picks up all the dirt. I find the job of emptying the bagless dirt rather nasty.

5 Stars Sucks Dirt
I read reviews for several hand vaccums. When I ordered this vaccum I crossed my fingers and hoped that it would do the job of cleaning my area rugs. I am pleased to say it sucks dirt. I can run it quickly and easily. I am in a 3 story townhome, so lugging the big Hoover up 3 levels was getting to be a big much for this plus 60 year old woman. This little vaccum is lightweight handles well and I am delighted with the purchase. I’ve relegated my Eureka stick vacuum to kitchen duty and put away my broom.
5 Stars Great Light and powerful Vac for hardwood floor
We bought this based on Amzon’s review and ranking. we have brand new hardwood floor and did not want to scratch it. In addition I wanted something powerful but light. My husband was skeptical once he saw it because it is so small. He could not believe that something so tiny could be so powerful. But he changed his mind. We just ordered 2 more so that we can keep one handy on every floor of the house. (Even though this is light enough to carry up and down without effort). You can see how quickly it picks up dirt even an inch away from the nozzle. It is easy to clean … However, the filter maybe a bit tricky to clean completly in the long run if it gets all full of dust… we will see so far so good. As other reviewers suggested, the trick is to empty and clean the collection chamber on a regular basis to ensure the best possible performance

1 Star Dead as a door nail after only 6 months
It worked fabulous for six months and died on the vine abruptly without warning. This after tender loving care - changed the dirt cup every time, changed the filters several times, only used on beautiful hard wood floors and small jute rugs. Here’s the rub, you can’t return it and get a new one even with that nice year warranty. Take to the service center, oh, I’m sorry, the nearest one is 58 miles away? How unfortunate! My advice? I just love my new little stick vac. I got tired hauling out my big central vacuum everytime I needed to vacuum. The day I got my stick vac (Amazon your shipping is the greatest) I put it to the test OMG! it picked up so much stuff. I did not realize my 20 year old Central Vacuum was not doing the job. Highly recommend.

Works very good, but doesn’t last. After about 6 months to a year it will overheat and shutoff after only 10 minutes of use. I have owned three of them and all have done the same thing. Recommended if you don’t mind shelling out 50 bucks every year or so for a new one.

This is what I was looking for, light weight, can clean both bare floor and carpet. It’s worth buying this little vacuum if you really need vacuuming everyday. you won’t be exhausted after cleaning. it’s light and does a wonderful job.

5 Stars The Rechargeable Stick-Vacs Just Can’t Compete.
I originally wanted to purchase a rechargeable stick vacuum, but after doing a couple hours of research, it seemed that every vacuum contained a review that said it sometimes did not pick up everything, like a “Cheerio” on the kitchen floor for example. So I figured what’s the point of having the convenience of a rechargeable vacuum if it isn’t going to vacuum well. (?)
Therefore, I did some more research and went with this plug-in vacuum… and I am glad that I did. The suction power is excellent and it picks up everything that a light vacuum should. Last week it even picked-up a small metal screw that was sitting in the corner of my kitchen floor (with the rotating brush turned OFF). *Cheerios beware!* The fact that you can turn off the rotating brush to vacuum hard floors is a great feature as well. Bottom line is, that if you want excellent suction power, you’re just going to have to bite-the-bullet go with a plug-in version. No battery pack in the world is going to compete with the power of a 110-Volt outlet. This Hoover stick vacuum is a perfect choice and I highly recommend it.

5 Stars Super Suction For a Small Vac!
This is an AWESOME vacuum! Buying these little versions can be a pain because you don’t want to end up with a vac that does not have any suction, but this one has phenomenal power. I use it on tile, carpet, and wood flooring and it picks up everything. You can actually see the dirt get sucked into the vac before the head even rolls over it, which makes it great to use against the baseboards. Transitioning from carpet to floor is very easy as you just push a button to switch from each. It does not scratch up my wood floors. It does feel hot after a while, but I have not had any problems with it overheating and kicking off. The container is easy to empty. I highly recommend this vacuum!
4 Stars Does what it’s supposed to do
This is quite a powerful stick vacuum. I especially like the second motor in the head for use on small rugs. The only negative is that I wish it had about 6 -8 more feet of cord. I would certainly buy it again.

After thoroughly reviewing all brands, makes and models online, in consumer reports magazine, in customer reviews and physically looking at them in the stores, I chose this lightweight bagless upright and have not been disappointed. The value for the money is top-notch. It is not a cheap looking product either, as I looked at others in the stores that looked like they had so many bells and whistles that would break off or crack upon any real usage. I highly recommend this product. Since I recently replaced most of the carpet in my home with hard surface flooring, such as 16″ ceramic tile and wood laminate flooring, I love the fact that I can zip through and clean the entire house in under an hour without having to lug my heavy regular upright around with the cumbersome hose attachment that kept coming detached from the base. Good product, good purchase, happy customer!

1 Star Motor broken in 10 months
I thought Hoover was a good name. Wrong. This Flair vacuum lasted 10 months. The brush motor is broken and costs as much as the original vac to replace. This is a waste of money. I’m staying away from Hoover products.
