2 Stars NOT AS GOOD AS THE HYPE
AFTER A MONTH OF LIMITED HOUSEHOLD USE, THE CHARGER WENT BAD, TRYING TO GET A PERSON WHO SPEAKS THE LANGUAGE OF THIS COUNTRY IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE.
THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR THE 1 MONTH OLD CHARGER, AS THIER WARRANTY DOESNT COVER ANYTHING ELECTRICAL! , SO REMEMBER THAT BEFORE YOU BUY!, IF YOU BUY! I WOULDNT EVER AGAIN!
THEY FINALLY SENT ME A NEW CHARGER AFTER SPENDING AN HOUR ON THE PHONE ARGUING WITH BOMBAY!
AND THAT TOOK OVER 2 MONTHS!

I got black interior in my new Honda and I want it to stay nice and clean. The Shark cordless vac makes it so easy, the motorized brush is powerful and the crevice tool is handy as well. The battery seems to be holding up well as far as not needing to be charged often, I leave my Shark behind my seat. My only complaint is the crevice tool is not very long, my vacuum one is much longer so for the hard to reach places between the seats and such, it’s just not long enough. I also received a lime green color, although I thought it would be silver and I am a very color coordinated person, if fact I saw a purple variation at the store and would have preferred that option of color ideally. But the product is awesome, I really have enjoyed it!

I AM OK WITH THE PRODUCT. I THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE MORE STRENGTH. IT’S BETTER WITH RUGS INDOORS THAN THE ONES IN MY VEHICLE.

I have ordered many items from Amazon over the years. This was a rip off. I used it two times and it wouldn’t hold a charge the third time. I bought it to vacuum out my car and the return time expired by the third use so I had no recourse but to be stuck with it. Skip this item, don’t buy it.

We purchased two of these vacuums - one for our daughter and one for ourselves. This vacuum is a great buy. It does a wonderful job on pet hair and day to day dirt. I was very surprised at how many times I had to empty it since our older vacuum, a hoover wind tunnel, seemed to be doing a good job. My only complain after a few weeks of use would be a wish for a longer cord. I really like the auto-rewind feature and the ese of emptying the cannister. Would definitely recommend.

I did not buy from amazon, but i used the reviews to decide on the vacuum i wanted, so i should give back, right? [...]. The “one star” part was the wait, 28 days!! But this vacuum is so awesome, it was worth it. i can’t believe how much dirt was in the canister after only one pass on my rug (granted, i was without a vacuum for 28 days and have 3 dogs!). it has some awesome on-board tools, the rewind feature i love. it is way more powerful than my fantom fury, which i paid a pretty penny for, and in its defense did last for probably over 10 years (i lost count). the negatives are the cord is a little shorter than i would like, and it comes out toward the floor so i am always tripping and mowing over it. the hose for attachments is way short, but overall i am loving this vacuum for the great sucking power. oh, and for the cleanable filter and the ease of emptying the canister.

Believe all the positive reviews. I have a dog and two cats and was convinced I needed an expensive top-of-the-line vacuum that I can’t afford right now, and bought the Hoover as a stopgap. Anything more expensive would have been a waste of money because this is a great vacuum.
The 5507 takes an almost scary amount of dirt out of my carpets, and the handheld attachment power brush has restored my favorite chair, which also happens to to the favorite chair of both cats. It runs quietly enough that the dog isn’t terrified (she’s not a fan, but she doesn’t feel the need to hide). The auto-retract feature is a nice touch, it is light enough to carry on the stairs, and the suction was strong enough to pick up a mess of spilled dry pinto beans the other day.
My only complaint, and this is minor, is that the handheld tube can be a little awkward if you have a lot of furniture to deal with, but I don’t think that it is any worse than most other vacuums I’ve dealt with.
Overall a great deal.

After searching for the right vacuum to fit my needs, this hoover is doing the job so far. Really like the ease of emptying the container when full and not having to touch the dirt and clean filter everytime. Still like not having to use bags. Good product. Love the rewind option for the cord.
