5 Stars So much better than wet jet or a mop
I love my new spinscrub! I hate housework and my floors never seemed to get clean, but with this machine I can even get my teenage boy to help with the cleaning. The water that it picks up is disgusting, but I’m glad to know that mess isn’t on my floors anymore. You do have to do a good job of vacuuming before you wash or it can get so clogged up (we have both a cat and a dog plus two kids) that it won’t pick up any more water, but once you figure that out it’s easy to fix.
5 Stars great for stone and tile
I bought this machine over a year ago, and waited to review it so I could speak from experience. I think this is a fantastic machine! I have all hard floors: slate, porcelain tile, linoleum and painted concrete. I use this on all these floors with great success. In particular, it is wonderful on my natural slate floors which are uneven and rough–I have not been able to use mops, sponges or microfiber cloths with much success because they rip up so quickly. (I also have wood floors but I have not used this on them because of concern with water damage.) I also do not use any of the detergents: I only use water. I am constantly amazed at how well this cleans as evidenced by the dirty water with debris in it.
I find there are 2 drawbacks. The machine is a bit heavy to maneuver and I usually end up with soreness on the inside of my thumb, but that is a small price to pay so I don’t have to mop or get on my hands and knees. The front plastic attachment that fits over the brushes came off early on (probably due to the abuse it gets going over the rough slate floor), but that was easily remedied with some tape. Of note is that I have found that you need to disassemble the resevoirs and tip the machine on its side so the brushes dry well for about a day otherwise a mold smell will occur.
I would definitely buy another one. This has been a huge time-saver for me.
1 Star Lasted 6 wks - calling for repairs - keep looking.
I ordered this at the end of January and was very pleased with the ease and convenience especially since my home is filled with tile floors. Unfortunately, the durabilty of the product is questionable at best. A mere six weeks later and it works but makes a HORRIBLE sound - the motor seems to be giving out after using it an average of 2 or 3 days a week for six weeks….possible 15 times. As others have mentioned, the water container is small but I dealt with that okay. The tools are a bit of a gimmick but since the main machine was okay - I wasn’t worried. On the other hand, spending $150 for roughly 15 cleaning periods makes this a bit on the expensive side to say the least. Quality is simply NOT there. Compared to my roomba’s which also give out after awhile, this is FAR inferior. They both lasted at least a year with frequent use - six weeks for this item is a new low. Very disappointed.
1 Star MACHINE DOES NOT SUCK AND TOTALLY BLOWS
I purchases a Hoover H3060 FloorMate SpinScrub 800 Hard Floor Cleaner with Portable Detail Kit. I was not only disappointed, I was fairly disgusted.
The dirt from the vacuum feature and the floor cleaning feature all end up in the same tank. It is so disgusting to clean. There are nooks and crannies that will not rinse out. The vacuum feature only works for a short time, and then you have to take out the filter and clean it. It was such a G-d-awful mess to clean, that I can’t imagine why anyone would go to all this time and all this trouble, rather than just use a mop.
Even returning it was a pain. Once the upper handle is snapped into place, it cannot be undone. I verified this by calling Hoover.
So that meant that the box it came in would not fit it for the return.
I did manage to get another box and shipped it back. Goodbye and good riddance.

I was very impressed with the job that the Hoover machine did. I’ve cleaned carpet with larger, commercial machines in the past. This carpet cleaner holds it’s own and gets the dirt out.

I’ve had some pet stains that were at least a year old in my carpet and while it didn’t magically pull them completely out it did make a nice dent in the color! Plus it removed the smell of the more resent stains. I’ll go back over the old stains a couple more times like it recommends with the vacuum. And I’m betting my carpets will look almost new and smell awesome too! It is a much more pleasant smell than the shout and other stain fighting products I’ve used.

I used the detergent as directed and was pleased with the amount of dirt it helped release from the carpet. I was also pleased with the smell(I am not a big fan of perfumed smells)it just smelled clean.

5 Stars Get’s The Job Done!
I bought this product based on the Consumer Reviews and so far it meets my expectations. It does a great job of cleaning my berber carpets and tile floor. Although the pedal is a bit difficult to release, I find that if I use my heel it’s easier to release. It is heavy, however, the description on the box does state that it’s 25 pounds. The attachments are great for cleaning between sofa cushions and floor crevices. We own a Shiba Inu Dog and this breed SHEDS! The vacuum does a great job in retrieving all the hair. Overall I think for $150 it’s a great buy. Surely you can buy a better product, but the cost will be over $300. I do recommend this vacuum.
5 Stars Best Vacuum ever purchased
I researced a lot of vacuums before deciding on this one. I can agree that it’s a little heavy and loud BUT it does an EXCELLENT job doing what it’s supposed to do and that’s pick up! The best vacuum by far from any I’ve ever owned or used. I have a 10 month old that loves to look for anything on the floor to put in his mouth and I don’t have to worry that he will be successful after using this! Highly recommended and I would buy again!

This is a very good vacuum cleaner and the price is a steal. No sales tax and free shipping makes it better than you could do in a bricks and mortar store. Moreover, I had a remarkable shipping experience - normally, free shipping normally means it takes the slow boat to get to you, but in this case the vacuum cleaner appeared on my doorstep less than 24 hours after I bought it online. Amazing, Amazon! The only downside to this product that I can see is that it is somewhat heavier than my old vacuum and so I would suggest that people who want a lighter vacuum cleaner shop around a bit and compare the weights of the vacuum cleaners in the product description before buying.
5 Stars Does what it was made for!
This vacuum was bought to replace a Hoover and so far it has performed much better than the more expensive Hoover. It was very easy to assemble and once we determined how the attachments were supposed to be stored on the back of the machine they are easy to use and restore. The lever on the side of the vacuum which releases it from the upright position works just like it is supposed to. Just push the handle forward while stepping lightly on the release handle and it releases perfect. From reading previous reviews we were concerned about how the brush release switch was going to work for the bare floors feature, but it works fine, except it might be difficult for someone whose hands are not very strong. It would probably be better if the switch had a longer handle to provide a little more leverage. The bag is just the right size and is easier to replace without the mess like with a bagless machine. Switching to the hose and attachment feature is very easy and works great with all attachments. The vacuum for the hose turns off and on very easily with the big yellow handle at the top of the vacuum. It has very good suction does an excellent job of cleaning and is fairly easy to maneuver. We have not had any problems and have not had to deal with Customer Service and hope they are better than Hoover, which are foreign based and almost impossible to deal with or get any satisfaction for a problem.

I absolutely love this product. It gets at pet hair better than anything I have tried before. I was skeptical before I actually received and used the Pet Hair Eraser, but all that skepticism has vanished. I highly recommend this to anyone with pet hair issues.
5 Stars My husband’s actually excited about this vac!
Got two very enthusiastic text messages from him the day it was delivered. Came home to find half of my house pet hair free. Yup- he did half of each sofa cushion. Half of each bedspread. Half of the futon. He basically turned my house into an infomercial, he was so impressed with how it worked. Once I saw the before and afters, so was I. We have two cats, one black and one orange- so no matter where, you always see hair.
4 Stars Crazy powerful little vacuum!
This little things is POWERFUL! Which is great. It is SUPER effective… with that comes a pretty big punch when you turn it on and a LOT of noise. That is the only reason why I rated it 4 instead of 5. I have the full sized upright Pet Hair Eraser vacuum and it isn’t even as loud. With that said however… this little thing can go where the big vac cannot… and it does its job and then some. I was about to toss the dogs’ sherpa lounge rugs because I could not get the masses of hair out of them no matter what I did. They are too light weight to vacuum with an upright (would get sucked right up), but a few minutes of running this little vacuum over them and there was hardly a hair in sight. I am so pleased. I’d def. recommend this handheld if you are not dissuaded by the noise it makes.

The reason this vacuum works so well is that the pink knobby nozzle helps to work the pet hair out of the fabric or carpet. Before this, I was using a dust buster (also a good vacuum) which had about the same amount of suction but it would only get about 25% of the dog hair off my couch. The Pet Hair Eraser gets about 95% of the hair. I’m very happy and highly recommend it.

We have a beautiful Golden with lots of long blond fur. This product easily removed the pet hair from couches, rugs - even bed skirts. Would definitely recommend it!

2 Stars Not as great as everyone says.
I bought this steamer on the raving reviews that I read here. However, I can’t believe that I received the same product that everyone is talking about. Yes, it does make steam, and yes it comes with a lot of nifty-looking attachments, but that is about all the positive things that I can say about it. The amount of steam that comes out is such a tiny amount that it is nearly impossible to use it to clean anything. I tried cleaning engine parts of different sizes and had zero luck - even when I held the steam on one spot for a long time, absolutely nothing happened. Yes steam comes out, but it had no effect on the grease/oil/grime/etc on engine parts. Inside the house, I didn’t fare much better. It will clean a spot, but since there is such a small amount of steam available, it takes forever. I have yet to find a cleaning task that is easier with this (as opposed to just using old-fashioned rags, brushes and cleaning fluid!). I really don’t understand how people are having success with this. I guess I need a more powerful version, but those run over $1000. I definitely would not have bought this if I could have tried it first.
3 Stars Lots of steam, so-so performance.
Well, I got this to help clean up and older home that had been neglected for awhile. You know, around the baseboards, the bathroom, kitchen, etc.
The unit did OK, but it didn’t do what I expected it to do. Perhaps my expectations were too high to begin with. That said, it will not clean mold/mildew in shower grout very well. (The black stuff) Which is the main reason I bought it. So now I have to regrout the bathroom, which is a real pain in the neck, literally.
It also will not remove rust/lime stains from porcelain, which was disappointing. The only thing I found it to be really good for is dirt/dust on baseboards and little nooks and crannies where normal cleaning can’t reach. Even then, be prepared to go over everything several times and then wipe up the nasty mess it leaves behind.
In all honesty, I am not sure what this machine accomplishes that a bucket of hot water and a rag wouldn’t. I would actually return mine for credit, but I found ONE use for it that makes it worth keeping, and that is cleaning my pets dishes. I don’t like using soap on them out of fear of them getting sick from it, so the steam is an excellent alternative.
In closing, if you are looking for something to really do some heavy duty cleaning, spend a couple dollars on a small bucket, fill it with scalding hot water and a little pine sol, and use a good stiff brush. Not only will it work just as well, but it will save your eardrums, too. OH, I forgot to mention, this machine is LOUD. For anyone who doesn’t think so, try using it in your bathroom/shower/enclosed area.

I read all the reviews and I was hesitant about buying this product. It has proved to be a wonder. I have used it to clean and deorderize the cat box, all my base boards, windows and mirrors, and my tubs and toilets. I can steam mop and dry my living room and dining room in under 1/2 hour which are wood laminate. No it does not bleach out grout lines on tiles. I did find one attachment fell apart from the heat. They should use a better glue on the pad. The small brushes do wear alot but you get four of them. I even used it to remove the dust from my very large silk plant. I am going to use it to remove the mildew on the siding and summer furniture on my porch. I dont use it everyday but I steam mop twice a week. It was exactly what I wanted. Thank You

We really like this item. We used it to clean grease and dirt off cabinets that we thought would have to be refinished. Great! Easily took the gunk off fridge door seals. For some clean-ups, a little elbow grease is still required. The dirt doesn’t necessarily just melt off, but it cuts stuff that you maybe thought was hopeless. Lightweight, easy to use, a bunch of attachments, lots of steam - recommended.
