Providing 1500 watts of steam power, this heavy-duty cleaner requires no chemicals and is easy to use. Ideal for cleaning and detailing cars, trucks, motorcycles, or boats, the cleaner removes stains and odors from upholstery, carpeting, and floor mats, as well as grease and grime from engines, wheels, and chrome accessories. It also works well for removing stuck-on dirt from the BBQ grill, patio furniture, or garage. The “steam ready” light indicates when the unit is ready to use, and a steam-control switch provides control over the amount of steam coming from the unit. The cleaner features a storage compartment for its 10 attachments, which include a steam jet nozzle, two extension wands, a triangle brush, an upholstery/floor brush, and a utility brush, as well as a squeegee, funnel, measuring cup, and terry cover for the floor brush. Its 12-foot power cord, caster wheels, and included accessories offer convenient mobility and make it easy to clean nooks and crannies in hard-to-reach places. 5 Stars Works as promised
I purchased this product to get my house prior to selling it. The other reviewers were pretty much on the money. You have to wait for the steam, but once it is ready it is a good heavy steam that lasts a long time. Among other things, I was able to clean the gunk under the toilet rim that a brush was useless on. I have cleaned showers, grout, toilets, etc. and I am very happy with this product.

I love the fact that you can steam for almost an hour nonstop.. i use it to sanitize dog kennels and steam the floors.. ‘the only thing i didn’t like is the attachment parts were not made very well.. they melted easily

I like the cleaner but it is a little to big to carry around. I used it on my tiles in the bathroom and on by tile floor. I wish it was conpacted to store.

I just got this steam cleaner last week. I wanted to clean without chemical cleaners and I wanted to clean up built up dirt. I had looked at similar products that were less expensive, but I chose this one after reading review. The McCulloch MC-1275 Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner is the best purchase I have made in years. I have gotten soap scum off that not cleaner would get off. I have cleaned my floors and they sparkle. Appliances are sparkling. My washer had a scuff that has been there for 8 years and now it is gone. I like that you don’t need a special towel to do the floor it is easy to find towels to clip on the floor attachment. I have gotten grease off of my oven that has been there for year. I am having a blast cleaning everything.
4 Stars McCulloch Steamer Cleaner does the job!
After hearing my daughter rave about this steam cleaner, to the point that she was willing to bring it to Portland on the train(!) so that I could use it, I decided to go ahead and just get one of my own. I have used it cleaning the “impossible bathroom” to an impressive degree - I was able to clean awkward spots that I hadn’t been able to reach effectively with a sponge or scrub brush before. I don’t think this room has ever been this clean since we bought the house. The less drastically dirty bathroom cleaned up very nicely, and I am looking forward to cleaning the rest of the house for a solid spring cleaning. My only problem was with the scouring pad attachment coming unglued from its plastic base after about ten minutes of use. Still usable, but took more care to keep it in place. I recommend this product wholeheartely!

EXCEPT…
We only used the thing every few months on our stairs and a couple other tight spots. Couldn’t have had more than an hour or two of run time on the machine. The first time we used it after the end of the one year warranty, the motor let out all it’s black smoke. It even left a stain on the carpet. I really expect products to last a bit longer than their warranty.

This vacuum is perfect for removing pet hair from furniture. I have a chocolate brown couch and a white cat, this vacuum was a life saver!!
4 Stars Best In Class
Honestly, one of the best hand held vaccuums I have ever owned and I’ve owned a bunch. From two different Dirt Devils (bagged and non bagged) to a Shark (belt went 2 weeks after I got it) - my “stair vac” gets a good workout. 3 dogs in all make life fun. The Eureka has great suction, powerful brushes and thoughtful design (the cord keeper and attachment department in the back). The flip down design on the front is great for the front of stairs & the industrial build feels very solid even though a tiny bit heavy. My only real complaint is the dust filter, which dirt clings to when you try to empty it out. All in all, a fantastic design and solid performer! Glad I bought it.
4 Stars Conquers Cat Hair
I purchased the Eureka vacuum primarily for my carpeted stairs. I have 3 indoor cats so it’s a challege trying to stay on top of the animal hair and dust. The vacuum performs well and is reasonably priced. The only drawbacks are a loose fit in the wall outlet and a tendency to overheat. It may not even be a problem if you don’t have a lot of steep stairs to clean.
I also found that the Eureka crevice tool performs much better than the attachment on my upright vacuum for cleaning the baseboards.
5 Stars THIS KICKS PET HAIR-BUTT!!!!
this thing is the best! i bought it because i had a rabbit, and his hair was everywhere. sweeping would just get it all over and the big vacuum didnt reach the corners well. when i first used this i was seriously surprised at how well it worked. i now use it for everything- all the corners of the house, under the fridge, behind heavy furniture. i do wish the hose was longer, but thats my only complaint! this is worth every penny- i cant believe it doesnt cost even more!! i love love love this little vacuum. its also great for around the litter box, since it takes a second to plug it in and its small and light enough to use quickly, etc. i love it!!!

5 Stars I didn’t know how dirty my floors were
I am another person who took a trial run with the Hoover and almost threw up when I saw the dirty water in the tank. That reinforced our need for this product! The key definitely seems to be going back and forth slowly. And, make sure you clean all of the parts after every use! They get really disgusting, but they are fairly easy to clean just by running them under hot water. I use ammonia as my cleaning solution — it’s cheap and effective, and unlike other products, it does not leave any kind of a sticky or waxy film.
The only cons: like others, I think the grout brush attachment is pretty much worthless. Also, if I stop using it for a few minutes, it will leak some water droplets on the floor, but I just wipe them up with a towel after I’m done.

Although I like the versatility and ease of use, I am not impressed at all with the vacuum function. I have to say, though, that the extra tools really make cleaning easier.
4 Stars Don’t expect to clean those scuff marks…
This product does work as advertised in that it does clean your tile floors of light to mediunm dirt, but will not clean ground in dirt or scuff marks. The bristles on the brushes are too soft and the machine does not have enough up front weight. As long as your expectation are such I do recommend this machine.
4 Stars Much better than the mop and bucket
My mom bought an original Hoover Floormate 6 years ago and I used to borrow it all the time, until she told me to get my own. I bought my Hoover Floormate H3060 4 years ago. I really like mine more than hers because of the wet pickup feature, which does a much better job drying the floors compared to the original. Neither one of us have had any problems with our Floormates yet. I’ve replaced my filter a few more times than her because I have a cat and 2 kids.
I did not like the original Hoover cleaner that comes with the machine. I just use distilled white vinegar and water mixed 50/50. My house is about 500-600 sq feet of laminate flooring and I feel that the tank is perfect sized for that. I don’t know what everyone complains about having to refill and empty the tanks multiple times for that size area.
I do notice that I need to push down on the head a little bit on sticky and excessively dirty areas. I also need to go over these areas a couple of times, but that’s no different than a mop.
The best part of this machine is the dirty mop water picked up as you are cleaning. It does not leave streaks after everything is dry. It only takes 3-5 minutes and your floor is completely dry.
The biggest reason I have only given this machine 4 stars is because after you are done using the machine, it leaks water back onto your floor. I always put mine into my walk-in shower and then put it back in the closet the next day.

I purchased the Hover Floormate to use on my tile floors. At first I was thinking I had made a big mistake, not to worry, because it could go back. I used it the second time and I liked it a lot better. Cleaning in the bathrooms was really great! I used the attachments around the baseboards and around the commodes. Worked really well. My floors seemed cleaner to me. I didn’t have to get my hands messy. The little debris that normally flies around when you sweep no longer flies around while cleaning the floors. That means less dusting! If I could improve or add something, it would be a brush with longer bristles on the scrubber. My tile is not even and I need something to get in the groves.

2 Stars Great at first,then disappointing
We bought this vacuum 13 months ago. It worked pretty well until about two months ago and then we noticed it wasn’t picking up well. Now, 2 weeks out of warranty, it doesn’t pick up anything unless you are using the attachments. We’ve cleaned it out so there are no blockages. I really think a vacuum should last more than 1 year. Maybe we just got the lemon..
5 Stars Hoover Vacuum Cleaner
I have been looking for the right vacuum, at the right price, that did everything I wanted, and I found it with this model. Floors, steps, chairs, dryer vents, everything! Light weight. Easy to empty, no mess bottom latch. Love the cord rewind! Works great. Even a light to see with. Simply put, this is the best vacuum I’ve ever had. Others have fallen apart, or stopped working just months after purchase. Thank you Hoover for making this model.
3 Stars It’s great on carpet… but
I won’t repeat the other reviewers who commented on how great it was on carpet - but I’ll add that on hardwood floors, not so much. I’ve used the attachment with the brush and it’s not as suctioning as you’d imagine… If you have an entire house of wood or vynil, you may want to buy retail - test - and return if you agree.
Cat litter does not pick up that easy. Cat hair - no problem
If there’s stuff next to the rug on the hardwood - good luck in getting that up while the vacuum is on the rug.
It’s powerful and WILL pick up everything off the rug - EVERYTHING! Amazing how much cat hair was in it - but kinda’ disappointed in the flat-surface department. ok-buy… worth a good sale price - not retail.
Hope it has longevity like my awesome 10 year old Hoover it replaced.

Great item for the price. Easy to use, nice front light, extra-power brush for a cleaner at this price is great. Only small complaint I have is that the power cord is a little short, but it does have a power rewind.

5 Stars It Almost Makes Vacuuming Fun!
I have used our Hoover U5507-900 Elite Vacuum Cleaner twice and I am very impressed with its cleaning power. This is the first bagless vacuum I have owned and I can see all the dirt this little baby picks up. It actually gives me the incentive to vacuum more! It is compact and because it is narrow, it can get into smaller spaces. The hubby enjoys using it so much, he vacuums the downstairs. The price is excellent and the retractable cord is very convenient.
