5 Stars Vacuum Bags
These are a perfectly good replacement bag, and far more cost-effective than the Hoover branded bags available through my local retailers. Have just recently installed the first of these bags, and have not yet replaced it, but the small tab for covering the opening after removal is a nice addition (this is not present on Hoover bags, and if functional should allow me to toss the bag directly into my trash can rather than having to bag it first to keep the dirt inside).

we have been using this type of bag for 6 months now. it seems to work great. we change it every 2 or 3 times we use it. i don’t remember how the brand name bags were that came with this machine, but these bags seem to work for me.
5 Stars It’s so Easy!
You’d think that finding bags for the popular Hoover Wind Tunnel Vacuum Cleaner would be a snap, but that’s not the case. About a year ago I searched all over and finally found them at Sears. To top it off, they were real expensive. Well, this year I ran out again and it became an emergency. My wife said to check the Vacuum cleaner bag as she thought it was probably full. I checked and, sure enough, it was almost full. Well, we had a party coming up that night and a lot of housekeeping to do in a short time. I tried a few places and no Type Y bags. One store carried them, but was temporarily out. OK, I just continued to vacuum with a full bag and finally got the job done in time for the party.
The next day, when cleaning up, I found a few new bags at a True Value Hardware Store. Well, the vacuum bag was not only full, the hose was full almost half way. Groan. Never again. It was then that I thought of the internet for bag shopping. Sure enough, all kinds were available on Amazon and the price was right. Kiss my vacuum bag problems goodbye! Why didn’t I think of this before?

Quite satisfied with the product. These were extra bags for the Hoover Vacuum cleaner. I did not have an immediate use for them. It took a LONG time to receive them. I give four star for the item but the service could hardly get two star. I settle with an overall three star.

These products are so much cheaper than the bags made and sold by Hoover but they provide exactly the same quality!

3 Stars Floor Steamer
Read many reviews and decided to purchase the Eureka 313A Enviro floor Steamer. For those of you that are looking for a quick way to clean floors, this isn’t it. It takes time to use one of these things and I am a little disappointed because it is not like running a swiffer over your floor. My floors seemed cleaner and I noticed they stayed cleaner for a longer period of time but I am still not sure if it is worth it. One feature I thought would be handy was the swivel base. It isn’t. It was very difficult to manuver and it took both hands for me to lift and turn it so it is horizontal along the wall. It also does not fit beside the toilet so I have to do that by hand. I have laminate but have not tried it on that because I don’t want to take the chance of ruining it. If you have the time during the day to clean then this machine will do a decent job, otherwise I’d stick to the swiffer.

We live on a farm with three house dogs and laminate and hard wood floors, the floor steamer gets a real work out. It’s easy to use and the cloth washes really well. The cord could be longer, and it still leaves some streaks, but that’s preferable to muddy paw prints:)
4 Stars Love the mop itself, Eureka, not so much.
I bought this because I wanted to have really clean, chemical free floors for my crawling baby and preschooler. In this respect, it does the job really well. The steam is very hot and it has pulled up amazing amounts of dirt from my apparently clean vinyl floors. It even got dirt out of an old section of vinyl leading to our basement that I thought was permanently discolored. As a test case, I even mopped an area before using it with a mop and bucket, and it still got out a lot of dirt. The floors are very clean feeling under bare feet and not the least bit sticky, which was one of my complaints with the mop and bucket system.
That said, this is not going to completely replace the mop and bucket or good old fashioned scrubbing. It does not get into corners or the areas by the wall or mop boards, so these will have to be wiped down periodically. It will not sanitize the entire floor unless you have a lot of time on your hands. It has to be held in place for 8-15 seconds on a spot to disinfect, per the owner’s manual.
The mopping cloths work well, but replacements are very expensive and one of mine frayed in the washing machine the first time I cleaned it. Now, the owner’s manual says to rinse it, but the dirt was really ground in and rinsing was never going to get it clean. I did not dry it in the dryer. I’m going to look at a fabric store and try to make some with my sewing machine. Eureka charges $20 for a two pack with minimum $10 shipping and they seem like they would be really easy to sew with the right fabric.
In addition, mine was shipped with a defective handle (would not telescope) and it took four phone calls to Eureka, a trip to a vac store 40 miles away, and a month to get a replacement. Eventually, I did get my replacement and really like it, but wasn’t thrilled with the way Eureka handled a defective product.
Overall, I’m glad I bought it though. It will probably take over most of my mopping and seems to do a really good job.
5 Stars One of the best inexpensive steamers out there
I love this thing! I hate cleaning over 1000 sq ft of tile and normally use the Spin Brush but for everyday cleaning, this steamer is the best! I have already owned the Shark and the Bissell and bought this one based on another review here on Amazon from a lady who had her friends bring their steam mops over for a face off. This definitely wins over the other ones I’ve had.
First of all, the steam…this things steams very well. Unlike the Bissell, it has several steam vents so that’s a plus.
Second of all the pads. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ! The pads MUST MUST MUST BE WASHED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE USING THEM TO “SEASON” THEM. When I first used the pads they were horrible. The water just kind of stayed there so I ended up cutting up some old towels to use and decided to keep the pads in the washer to wash them a few more times and that definitely did the trick. I must have thrown them in the wash about 8 times before they got soft enough and absorbent enough not to leave streaks of water everywhere.
Finally Amazon! Buy from Amazon, don’t hesitate. After a month of use my steam mop just quit working out of the blue. I contacted Amazon and within a couple of days I had a new one at my doorstep!!! It just can’t get better than that!

I can’t tell you how fast you can finish vacuuming using this new design bag, no odors, no missing dirt or hairs anymore, what a difference, used to take me over 1 hour to go through the whole house now it takes me less then 15 minutes, the suction is greatly improved, my kid’s room has a very thick rug, some of the dust would stick to it… normally I would have to go over and over the rug with my vacuum cleaner, to get the visual dust of the rug, sometimes I would have to get down on all four to get some of that dust by hand… not anymore …what a difference a simply good design has made. Before that I was thinking of getting a new vacuum cleaner with a greater power, guess what, not a chance…Buy those bags and save plenty of time to get the job done right…and instead of HEPA filter I use the one for odor control Miele Active Air Clean Filter (For Odor Control) - S300/S400/S500 Series …very pleased
1 Star BEWARE OF THIS!
Beware of this item. I ordered “8 bags with 4 filters” from Go Vacuum and received 4 bags with 2 filters. The guy at Go Vacuum said Amazon is advertising it wrong and that there have never been 8 bags with 4 filters in this style. Even the box that came has a sticker on it that says “FJM Miele Bags 8 Bags with 4 Filters”. It’s wrong. The guy at Go Vacuum said I could just “send them back if I didn’t like them.” Haha.
5 Stars Miele vacuum bags
I purchased 2 boxes of FJM vacuum bags which should have contained 5 bags each. However, I received the newer bags that are now made and contain only 4 bags. The picture on Amazon clearly showed the box that contained the 5 bags. I called the seller and explained this to him and he said he has been trying to clear this problem up, but Amazon has not corrected it as of yet. He was so nice that he sent me the extra 2 bags that I had expected to get. I hope for his sake correction is made soon.

I just love my two Miele cannister vacuums, they’re great. We live on all tile floors with 10 dogs and a few cats, so everyday I vacuum up a ton of animal hair, and I go through vacuum bags quite frequently. I’m not paying $19 for four bags, that’s ridiculous! I e-mailed Miele, they told me about how much better filtration the new bags afforded. I explained that filtration quality means nothing when cleaning very coarse animal hair. I’m not living in a “clean Room” at Intel!
I noticed that Bosch has also raised their cannister bag prices, so maybe it’s a German thing. I started buying generic “FJM” 5 bags for $10 from Amazon, which work just fine. These cheap bags have a cardboard connection at top, instead of plastic, but doesn’t matter. So I’m happy now. I’m not paying $5 per Miele bag! 5 Stars Excellent Vacuum however…..
This is an excellent vacuum however it is very heavy. Being of short statue and not very strong my husband usually does the vacuuming since we bought this. It takes off forward very easily but is very hard when pulling it back. “It probably picks up better than any vacuum I’ve ever had tho and I’ve had alot in my 65 years.” I highly recommend this. It even picks up tiny threads that are always on my quilt studio floor.

I was sick and tired of the bagless,the mess,dust and using my air compresser to blow out all parts of my Dyson canister.I really think this Eureka out cleans and is cleaner all around for a fraction of the cost.

So I went online to the reviews on vacuum cleaners and this was at the top of the list, so I continued on my mission reading and researching machines and all good things regarding this machine. So I purchased it and it came really quickly through Amazon. Easy to assemble and the suction is incredible when you turn the machine on it just wants to go, it is alittle heavy but not as heavy as my Dirtdevil. I am very pleased with my purchase but some reviews are correct my machine was missing the Power Paw Clip so I can’t put my power paw on the machine, its just laying around the house, and the step pedal to recline the vacuum is quite hard to release so I am sure that will break before the vacuum. But other wise the price was great for this machine and I can’t brag more about the suction! WOW.
5 Stars You’ll definitely get your money’s worth
Tired of picking up bits of dirt by hand that your vacuum missed? You won’t be doing that with this Eureka. Great suction, for a terrific price. What we didn’t realize when we bought it is, this vacuum has a forward motion, like a powered lawn mower. So it glides forward with little effort, however pulling it back means pulling against that forward motion, which I found to be a struggle. But my wife figured out that you just need to push the handle downward a bit while pulling back, and that lifts the vacuum off the floor so there’s no forward motion. Handle up/glide forward, then handle down/pull back. Easy once you get the hang of it. Actually it would be a little easier if the handle was a little longer, then you wouldn’t have to bend over when pushing down on the handle (probably not a problem if you’re under 50). In any case, we’re thrilled to finally have a vacuum that really sucks (in a good way).
5 Stars This thing sucks, but in a good way!
I bought this as a refurbished unit. I couldn’t tell. It looks and runs as brand new, but at half the cost. I replaced a 4 year old bagless vac. There’s no comparison when it comes to cleaning power. This vacuum has tons of sucking power. It actually cleans my floors. The only negative is it did not come with the power brush, but that’s no biggie. The included attachments work fine for me.
