User Ratings and Reviews

2 Stars Returning vacuum
The tip of the philips screw was broken off before it was packaged in celophane and sealed. The crevice tool was not included and neither was the extension tool. Vacuum had good suction. It is lightweight. I found the handle uncomfortable to hold and the standing height of the machine uncomfortably short. I am 5′5″ so not sure how someone taller would use. I have some arthritis in my hand which is usually not a problem in performing tasks. However this handle left my hand hurting after very brief use. Overall I was disappointed given the many reviews praising machine and thought the quality lower than my previous Hoovers. Returned item and will not purchase brand again.

5 Stars THIS VACUUM SUCKS !!!!! REALLY SUCKS ALL THE DIRT AND DUST !!!!!
Great vacuum sucks everything in its way. I have three times more expensive vacuum for my first floor and I bought this much cheaper vacuum for my second floor, and to be honest with you I find no difference in sucking power both of them are 12 amp., almost same weight and same noise level. I am happy I purchased Bissell hopefully it last atleast couple of years.

4 Stars Great vacuum for the money
My wife and I have both used this vacuum and have no complaints. It’s light weight, manuverable, and easy to use. The hose and attachments work well, are easy to use, and stay put. It’s very easy to clean and put back together. It’s very quiet and we can vacuum our entire house without emptying it, there’s also no loss of suction. This is our first bagless vacuum. We are still not used to cleaning it after each time we use it. If you compare its performance to a bagless, we can get used to this very minor inconvenience.

3 Stars Decent value
I wanted a second cleaner so that I wouldn’t have to lug a machine between floors. This fits the bill as an upright and performs well. The vacuum hose is so short that it’s a joke. I tried to use the attachments once and its a waste of time. In addition, dirt was exhausted from the storage port for the hose. Unbelieveable! The handle is nothing but a cheap piece of molded plastic. The electical cord is attached to the middle of the machine, as is the on/off switch. This results in a lot of stooping to turn the cleaner on or off and you must hold the cord, else you will step on it.

The vacuum has 3 filters, two of which can be cleaned with soap and water. After a month the HEPA filter shows no accumulation and will not need replacement for a long time. The filtering system is efficient - there is no evidence that any dirt is returned to the room.

Since everything that is sucked up is visible frequent emptying and filter cleaned is encouraged. A good thing. Bottom line — works well as an upright. A decent value for the money.

4 Stars good for the price
The pluses are the price is right, it’s lightweight, and easy to assemble. The suction is OK, but not the best I’ve seen in a vacuum. Its very easy to empty. It seems better at picking up lightweight items like hair and dust. It seems to have trouble picking up heavy things like coins and nails. If the suction was stronger I would have given it 5 stars. This is my first bagless unit and I’m mostly pleased as it was the least expensive unit available.
